The Yoga Journey.

Hello, welcome, and namaste!

Since moving to San Francisco, yoga has slowly and steadily slipped more into my everyday life and I couldn’t be happier.

After moving halfway across the country, it was a transitional period for me to decide if I wanted to continue to invest in Barre Instructing or commit to a different path. I started exploring the many, many studios that I have access to living in this amazing city. I spent time checking out Aerial yoga, TRX, sculpt, pilates, cycling, Astanga yoga, and Vinyasa yoga classes on top of many others and found the ones I enjoyed the most was the yoga flow classes. I found myself wanting to learn more and more. It wasn’t just a “work-out” for the day, it was a complete mindset that I wanted to have overflow into my entire life.

This doesn’t mean I have switched up my routine and moved away from hot sculpt and pilates classes. As a student, I find these classes not only help detox my body and set a clear mindset but is a huge mood enhancement and stress reliever.

But as a teacher, I fell in love with the philosophy of the 8 limbs of yoga, the sutras, and energetic anatomy and found a craving to want to share this information with others. Through this exploration builds the outcome of the union of mind, body, and soul. An element in life that I was deeply craving that I wasn’t necessarily getting in other realms of my life.

This love and passion then lead me into my first 200-hour yoga teacher training the last four months. A full post about my journey through training will soon follow.

This space on the internet that I’m planning to evolve will contain yoga asana breakdown, meditation practices, Spotify playlists, healthy foods, yoga philosophy deep dives, and more 🙂

My intention through this journey is to connect a community where we can have this beautiful passion for yoga blossom together. If these topics also resonate with you I would love to connect! Share with me in the comment section when and how you started your yoga journey.

Namaste 🙂
