Hey there, I’m Ashley!
Welcome & Namaste
I’m so happy you’re here! This space consists of lifestyle material, self-growth knowledge, fitness & wellness tips, and so much more.
I believe we all have a fascination at some level with the growth of mind, body, & spirit & are seeking a community that brings this all together. Where we can celebrate ourselves and the continued journey we are always on to improve ourselves.
I’m Ashley, a Digital Marketer, all things health-obsessed, pug owner who loves a glass of full-bodied red wine. I’m also a certified fitness, barre sculpt & yoga instructor.
I’m currently surrounded by mountains, living & loving in Fort Collins, CO with my pug Nella. Before this, I was near the ocean in the beautiful city of San Francisco, CA. During the day I work in Digital Marketing and in my free time, I’m fueling my creativity through teaching yoga & barre, crafting, cooking, and jamming out to good tunes (Current playlist).
I completed my Barre Sculpt training in the spring of 2017 and completed my 200-hour YTT through The Pad Studios in San Francisco, CA under the remarkable teacher, Rosemary Garrison. Check out my schedule for upcoming classes and events.
I never pass up an opportunity to jump on a trampoline or a glass of good red wine. I have a passion for everything creative and a desire to view the world. I have a need to unleash these thoughts with others who share these same interests.
I also am only sharing about brands and products I truly love and are obsessed with using. You’ll find a few affliate links throughout the site, if you choose to purchase through these it is more than greatly appreciated!

Have you ever had vanilla ice cream in your hot chocolate? Good stuff!!! How is the Customer Trainer internship going? That sounds like a really cool internship. I have enjoyed looking over your blog.

No, vanilla ice cream sounds like it would be delicious! And my internship is awesome. Stressful at points but I am learning A LOT, and that’s all that matters.

Thank you! It hasn’t really hit me yet that I have graduated and in the real world…. and that was 7 months ago. Maybe it will hit me more once spring break rolls around and I have to work instead of go on vacation haha

OMGosh, I just realized you live in Sioux Falls! I’ve read your about page before, I don’t know how I missed that, but I just read your post from a while ago about your morning fruit being frozen 😉
My mom grew up in Watertown, and my dad outside of Aberdeen. I can clearly see, in my mind, driving along the river on the way from Memphis to visit my grandmother! What a small world, indeed.

That is so cool! I actually grew up in Missouri but my parents are both from SD (Iroquois & Huron) so I decided to come to SDSU for college! I love it here but once the winter rolls around every year I kick myself for deciding to move here haha

I love John Mayer Pandora! I actually have to reroute my DSN number to the US to listen (pandora is unavailable in Canada), but it is so worth it!

Ahhh, that is crazy Pandora isn’t available in Canada. It is honestly the most used app on my phone. Do you use Spotify? It is where I find all my new music! I love it but you have to pay to have it on your phone.

Spotify is also unavailable in Canada haha. Canadian radios pay a LOT to artists and other music things (which is why it is LEGAL to download music for free) so for Pandora to come to Canada they would have to pay 45% of its GROSS income to our copywrite board. really shitty, but I mean, I can understand it. I use songza.com it’s ad free and its not too bad. Pandora is just better!

Wow! I don’t know what I would do with out Spotify & Pandora. But that is awesome for artists in Canada! I used to use iTunes A LOT so I could hear the songs I wanted before I found Spotify. Do you have to pay for songza.com?
LikeLike
Nope! Songza is free, and there is a free app on itunes! Only downfall is that you can only ‘skip’ so many times per playlist.

Ah, Ashley we were meant to be friends! I looooooove John Mayer. Even though that’s not necessarily a popular thing these days. I buy all of his albums, hard copy, just because that’s what I’ve been doing since high school, haha. I want to travel the world, too! Not sure where my next destination is, but I hope to take a trip some time this summer! Love your blog!

Thanks so much & thanks for stopping by 🙂 You’ll have to keep me updated on where you travel to this summer! I absolutely love to travel but unfortunately haven’t been out of the country yet. My family is planning a tropical vacation for this summer so I am seriously soooooo excited!
